Wendy born in Plymouth NH, grew up in Mason NH, at Pickity Place, a gift shop, 5 course gourmet herbal restaurant and little red riding hood museum which her parents created. She attended High Mowing Waldorf School (7-12th grades) in Wilton NH and Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs NY. Wendy started her journey with clay in high school. Out of college she worked for potteries in St. Thomas USVI and Colorado and in 1999 started her own production pottery business called The Voice Of Clay. She also taught many pottery classes and subsequently noticed an energetic transformation as her students worked with clay. This inspired a quest about the healing properties of clay. She has since participated in a clay bath certification, two Shamanic apprenticeships, EFT studies, Reiki certification and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Studies, as well as, practitioner training in transpersonal breathwork. Wendy has 2 children, Zachary 18 (an advanced Celtic, Blues and Jazz Harpist) and Alexandra 16 (who is passionate about circus arts). Wendy’s favorite part of working at Groton Wellness is when she notices the relief people feel when they receive a new perspective, a new piece of information or a new product etc that feels like a piece of the puzzle for them. Bonnie individualizes each treatment with the goal of achieving and maintaining healthy skin and well being while providing a safe, comfortable and calming experience to refresh and renew. She uses a gentle and natural balanced approach with special interest in lifestyle and diet for addressing acute and chronic skin problems and countering the effects of aging. A relaxing lymphatic stimulation massage utilizing gentle, soft brush and hand strokes detoxifies and nourishes the skin. She is passionate about caring for others and enjoys the benefits of touching and healing lives through massage and energy healing. Trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone and Pregnancy Massage as well as Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Cranio-Sacral Treatment and Reflexology, Carol is able to tailor a session to the specific needs of each individual. Carol Lavoie is a nationally certified licensed massage therapist through NCBTMB (National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork) as well as a member of ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals) since 2005. She attended North Eastern Institute of Whole Health Massage Therapy located in Manchester, NH. Carol lives in Nashua NH.
