PRAYER AND FASTING SERIES 9 MATHEW 6:16 6:16 Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad counteract. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. Brethren, hypocrites are pretenders, who fast for the glory of man and not God. A prayer is between yourself and God, meaning it is your secret with Him (God.) Why expose to men! If it is a cooperate fasting and you have your prayer items then let it be a secret between yourselves too. May I go farther, a secret means you are focused to the King of kings and that you seek the glory of God. If somebody may realise that you are fasting you havent sinned yet, because that fasting is not for the glory of men but of God. Somebody may know that you are fasting but your focus matters a lot (the reason of fasting.) I am deeper in revelation brethren. Now, when praying and fasting dont forever command God or quarrel. You must be humble in everything you do during prayer and fasting. Never blame God even if He doesnt answer. Wait for His timing because He is never late. If He answers have a thanksgiving prayer also. Prepare in righteousness and holiness Messiah is coming. Glory and honour belongs yo Him who is coming, the King of Glory Jesus Christ.
