PRESS RELEASE: Henny Jurriëns Foundation in Amsterdam to move to Chasse Dance Studios As of the 2nd of February 2015 the Henny Jurriëns Foundation (HJS) will move to the newly-opened Chassé Dance Studios in the refurbished Chassé Church in Amsterdam West. Established in 1995, HJS offers daily professional-level ballet and contemporary dance classes as well as an extensive workshop program. It is considered one of the most important open freelance dance training centers in Europe, and attracts dancers from all over the world. The Chassé complex houses 8 dance studios, a gym, and an informal theater. Later in the year a hotel and café will open on the premises. HJS will be one of the main users of the studio complex and will strive together with the Chassé organization and other partners to make it an international center for dance activities. Dance artists can train, rehearse and present their work there, and information about the local dance scene will be available.
