PRIDE AND GREED IN THE CHURCH! ".....And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth" (Gen. 11:1-4). Open your eyes and take a look at the current status of the Church! What do you see? Everywhere you turn, there is an overflow of church leaders and leaders of Christian ministries who are building religious towers. These people are committed to make a name for themselves. Do you know why? They are being motivated by PRIDE and GREED. THEY ARE SELFISH. With pride and greed in their heart, they find it easy to compromise, twist, and misinterpret Scripture. They abuse Christians, and exploit them to fulfill their SELFISH DESIRES.
