RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION SUMMARY The Production Assistant works closely with foreign offices, import traffic, sourcing, sales and customer service to ensure accurate execution of product, spreadsheets and purchase order issuances. RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: Production Manager Other Key Relationships: Sourcing, Import Traffic, Hong Kong Office, foreign agent offices, Customer Service, and Sales MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Daily communication via email with HK office and agents in overseas offices • Evaluate production issues to determine impact on customer deliveries • Create and maintain delivery reports for weekly review with manager • Track shipments on ACS and with Traffic • Scale seasonal buys • Set-up and maintain stylemasters • Issue and maintain purchase orders to vendors on ACS • Follow-up on maintain merchandise marking trims • Track TOP samples • Create and track sales sample reports • Drop styles and colors on PDM • Follow-up on requirements of special accounts QUALIFICATIONS: CRITERIA/PROFILE • College degree preferred • PC literacy, Microsoft Word and Excel • 1 year of production/operations Sorry, applications are not being accepted through StyleCareers.
