PROPHECY, {The Christian Exodus}, by Wayne Blank Beginning with His Passover (it is the LORDS Passover (Exodus 12:11, This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord’s Passover. KJV), it was the Christ that made the Exodus happen. (10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea ; 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 1 Corinthians 10:1-4 KJV) Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues When their journey toward a new life began, Christ introduced the people of the Exodus to His Holy Days, His annual Sabbaths, the Christian annual Sabbaths. Earth 23:14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. 23:15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread : thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty. 23:16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours , which thou hast sown in the field: And the feast of ingathering , which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. 23:17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD. (Exodus 23:14-17 KJV) Christs Holy Days are Christian, not merely Jewish or Israelite (the people of Judah were just one of the twelve tribes of Israel). The ancient Israelites (and the unconverted people of Judah today who still reject the Messiah) observed them in a way that was less fulfilled than after Christ became the Lamb of God - and which will be ultimately fulfilled when the process of salvation has been completed . Regardless of when they were observed however, in the ancient past or in the present day, they are about coming out of the old world and making the journey to the new. Along with observing Christs true Holy Days (the Holy Days portray the process of salvation, while observing them is itself is part of the process of salvation), Christians are expected to make the Exodus journey, by means of the process of conversion to the promised land to come - and thereby escape the wrath that is coming upon the world that was displayed, in type, by the plagues upon Egypt (notice below that Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues was written in Revelation, for the present, not Exodus, for the past): 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues . 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. (Revelation 18:4-6 KJV) [Fact Finder: Can people just accept Christ as their personal Savior and be saved________],;[Or is salvation a lifelong journey of repentance and overcoming?_______________].
