PSA: Parents...YOU HAVE GOT TO DO BETTER!! Hate and racism are learned traits. You are the ones I will blame when my children are upset because their little friends are spouting out the n word, spewing their hate into the world and being disrespectful. I WILL show up at your door, confront the issue (without making a scene) and make sure you understand my position as to why my kids will not be allowed to be around your children. Your excuses are invalid. Even if they didnt learn it FROM you, you have not done enough to stop it...you are failing your children. Allow them to make choices (good and bad) and not be little minions to carry on your ignorance. Take some accountability for the negative character traits, not just the successes of your kids. YOU are their mentor. And if youre not, youre doing it wrong. Respect your job as a parent. It should be your #1 priority. Remember this...If you tolerate it, you enable it.
