PTA honors Citizenship Program winners At a recent board of education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Jim Hinson, Board of Education members, and representatives from the Shawnee Mission Area Council PTA recognized students who received honors in this year’s PTA Citizenship Program. Through essays and poems, these students explained how they work to be good citizens in their school communities.
