Regardless of your party, be aware of the following when you select your ballot at your polling station: If you choose the REPUBLICAN ballot, you WILL be able to vote for the Cherokee County School Board member in your District and ALL other Cherokee county positions up for election. If you choose the DEMOCRATIC ballot, you WILL NOT be able to vote for any Cherokee County School Board members or any other Cherokee County positions up for election. This is because there are no Democratic candidates running in Cherokee County. If you typically vote Democrat, and would like to vote for a BoE candidate or any other Cherokee County candidate, you MUST vote Republican. Voting this way WILL NOT affect your ability to vote for a Democrat in November.
