PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING MEETING RECAP: We really had a great meeting last night on the proposed plans for a new public safety facility. There were about 280 in attendance. Mayor Mike Daniels and David Hart from MOCA (City Consultants) presented the information. The meeting did not include an open session for public comment. Instead, comment cards were handed out asking residents if they had enough information at this point to put this issue on the November ballot. Here are the next steps moving forward in this process: *VIDEO: The meeting was filmed and is scheduled to be on the city website by Monday, August 11th. *COMMENT CARD QUESTION: The comment card question given out last night is available as a link on the city website: plgrove.org/ It will be available for 10 days. *PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING BROCHURE: A full-color, detailed brochure with renderings and numbers given out last night is also available on the city website. *POWER POINT PRESENTATION: The presentation shown to the public at the meeting will be available tonight on the city website. *BALLOT DECISION: The council must decide within the next two weeks if this issue will be on the November ballot for the public to vote on.
