PUPPYHOOD!##>€££%%>! First missing, then Spanky came back about to pass out! No Wilma Jean anywhere, called and called and called, searched high and low still no pup! I did however see signs of a turkey attack, piles of plucked feathers here and there. Spanky released part of the evidence.....feathers stuck to his mouth! I figured Wilma was feasting on a turkey somewhere but I was unable to locate the crime scene.........UNTIL......faint barking in the distance! Of course she would not come when called, she had a warm turkey dinner neck deep in the pond in the woods. After collecting her bad self, muddy and with blood evidence on her whiskers she was placed in a holding pen until the turkey can be rescued. Went with the pool net to retrieve from the water but the poor featherless thing was already out. Scared and in shock he would not follow or guide so now headed to get help, Rick Quick, a blanket and a warm create. Update later! Gotta love starting the day this way!! No coffee needed!
