PURPOSE OF LIFE IN ISLAM And I did not create the jinn and - TopicsExpress

PURPOSE OF LIFE IN ISLAM And I did not create the jinn and humankind except to worship Me’¦ [Quran 51:56-58] The purpose of human is to worship Allah, alone according to islam. Worshipping Allah means obeying Allah in which what He enjoins and obeying Allah in what He forbids. Based on this we will get heaven or hell. Now coming to point is that when asked what is the purpose of life to atheists, they usually reply that there is no ultimate purpose of life except what we give purpose to life. I think this is flawed reasoning because just because you do not know what is the purpose of life that does not mean there is no purpose of life. Everything in this life has a purpose, facebook has a purpose, the groups in facebook has a purpose, car has a purpose, building have a purpose, you just name it everything has a purpose. Only accident have no purpose,so do these people that life is an accident, this is what is meant from their statement. As for statement that we decide what is our purpose of life, this is not correct because if a person decide that he wants to be a robber, rapist, drug dealer what difference does it make as compared to those who choses to be doctor, engineers or scientists. If we decide our purpose of life then why be good, anybody can choose to be bad. Also suppose if a doctor decides that his purpose of life is to steal kidneys of patients and sell them what difference will it make,it was his choice to decide what will be his purpose of life. Its like a student who says that it is his right to set the question paper coming in the exam
