I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who has donated kind words, prayers, items from the wish list and financial support. You have helped this family tremendously, sadly they continue to struggle. Norm and Juliana are impatiently waiting for their medical benefits to pay for Norms meds...Sadly this can take a long time to get straightened around. Until then they must continue to pay out of pocket for Norms meds so financially they are in a bind every month. I have been through similar times to this and it is a very scary thing to live through. When you have to choose between much needed medication and feeding your family it is extremely hard on them, causing a lot of stress and worry. Take a moment and put yourselves in this predicament and I am certain you will get the idea. From personal experience I have had to rely on food banks to survive and its not easy especially if you dont have children. They only allow you so much food and believe me its not the most healthy. In addition to food and medical costs they still have fixed costs such as rent and utilities along with other bills they must pay to stay on top of them. Otherwise they become more delinquent and eventually utilities get shut off. That has not happened yet but it could. If you have already donated please share this plea for help. If you have not donated could you reach deep down and offer a small donation? Anything helps at this point. Of course when it rains it pours they are going through this and trying to get their beloved Jovi veterinary help and to dog lovers everywhere we know its not cheap. But like any other family with dogs the Fab Five mean so much to them. To those who are in the same situation pray, pray for yourselves and Norm and Juliana. We need to let them know they are not alone and that we share their burden. Juliana has a wish list through Amazon.ca if you would rather donate dog food that would be wonderful or donate other much needed items. If you would rather not pay shipping charges you can send them a Petsmart gift card which is so much easier and less expensive, just send Juliana Nielson a PM so she can provide their address. I would also like to add that even asking for help is extremely difficult, pride gets in the way and honestly I would bet things are worse off than we know. Many people I have found dont like to share how hard things really are.....they smile, choke back tears and put one foot in front of the other.
