Pack walk :) ! Whether you walk one dog, two dogs, three dogs or more... Your leashes should be loose and the dogs calm, attentive and at your side. Practicing a structured walk with dogs individually is essential in being able to walk them together. All of the dogs must understand the rules of a structured walk and follow them easily. No pulling, barking, lunging, walk at my side, at my pace, no marking, sniffing, putting on the breaks, trying to play with the other dogs, etc. etc. etc. Then once all the dogs understand the structured walk very well it is just a matter of maintaining it when you bring them together. We may have to apply small leash pops to remind the dogs to stay in position if they get distracted, but essentially we want them to be on auto pilot :) . Notice how all of the leash clips are hanging in an abstract J shape. There is more pressure from gravity (loose leash) weighing the clip down than there is between myself, the leash and the dogs. A proper structured, loose leash walk should leave no tension on the leash between you and your dog.
