Padmanabhaswami Temple in Tiruvanantapuram,kerala state is an absolutely magnificent temple which I visited quite some years back.The sanctum sanctotum has a black stone statue of Lord Vishnu in the lying posture visible through 6 doors.You can never see the entire statue at any one time. There was a big controversy of what the 6 chambers on which the temple stands contain by way of wealth the royalty of kerala had stashed away and which the public were curious to know. This is one of the 1st reports I have read.Quite like the mysterious Egyptian pyramids,loyal priests,etc. Read on....the mystery deepens.
