Palestine,west bank ,8/82014. Bilin weekly demonstration took place today after the noon time prayers. The demonstration today was against the newest slaughters in Gaza and the Israeli army was particularly brutal in their repression of todays demonstration. The army attacked the protests with tear gas long before we even reached the wall. They started shooting tear gas from their jeeps and many people suffered from suffocation and temporary blindness as a result. During this protest people carried images of the martyrs that were killed last week in demonstrations. There was a boy who was killed by an Israeli sniper in a nearby village when he was protesting against the Israeli slaughter in Gaza. Bilin has been making these weekly demonstrations for more than 9 years, protesting against the Israeli occupation and the theft of Palestinian land.
