Panhandle Equine Rescue was present at the opening day of Market Day, Saint Monica’s Episcopal Church on May 3. Georgia Brazzell, Casey Metzger, her daughter Courtney, and Bryce Magruder represented PER. They talked with many people who had never heard of PER and gave out lots of information. People were generous and donations were good. A big shout out to the Pine Forest ROTC students who were out very early in the morning to assist; especially to students Kennedy Brandon and Katelyn Newsom who helped PER set up. Also, thanks to Carolyn Brower for putting together a lovely Mother’s Day gift basket and vase of flowers to be offered for donation for PER. We appreciate St. Monica’s for allowing PER to have a booth at this event.
