Paradigm is looking to fill another position within IT. This position can work in our Walnut Creek, CA or Lombard, IL office. All Paradigm positions are subject to a pre-employment criminal background check. Application Production Support Lead/Supervisor - this position is a “hands on” lead/supervisory role requiring cursory technical skills as well as an aptitude and interest in progression to management. Lead Tier/Level 2 custom application production support, working with necessary resources to resolve issues for application-related user problems and/or Application Development implemented solutions. Accountable for performing intake, inventory, initial analysis, coordinating the resolution (and sometimes resolving themselves) enhancement/maintenance requests. Project management of small projects will be done in conjunction with the primary roles of support and enhancements. Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree or professional certifications required. Prefer degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Must bring 2+ years leading/managing production support. Candidate must have knowledge and hands-on experience with the following technologies: SQL; Microsoft Active Directory and FTP. Highly desirable is experience with these technologies: Microsoft Windows; Microsoft IIS 6.0 and Microsoft SharePoint. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required. Advanced ability to analyze complex situations, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid and substantiated conclusions.
