Parents, Emily and I would like to once again thank you for allowing us the honor of having your daughter cheer with CYC. The year is new and there will be a few bumps in the road but we know this will be a fabulous year for all. We would like to remind you that all of our coaches and the CYC board members are all volunteers and with that, this organization would not be possible without these fabulous people. We have a lot of first time coaches who have graciously stepped forward and given of their time and energy so that we could have squads for each and every team that had siblings. We are proud to announce that we have a total of 21 squads this year with a total of 160 girls. That is a growth of nearly 20 girls from last season and Emily and I are tickled pink. If at any time you feel that there is an issue with the cheer coach, football coach or the squad overall, please please please do not hesitate to contact Emily or myself. We cannot possibly be at every practice and if we do not know something is wrong, we cannot start the process of making it right. Please do not address cheer issues with football coaches or football board members. We have worked very hard to develop a great relationship with our football counterparts, however, we are two separate entities and like football, we have to handle our issues in house. We appreciate all of you for getting the girls to practices and look forward to the cheer clinic this weekend and to a fabulous football season.
