Parents Need an Education, Too - Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 6:45 p.m. in the Three Rivers Performing Arts Center In today’s world photos and posts on the internet don’t go away, they remain forever waiting to affect friendships, college admissions, job interviews and many other aspects of your life. New social media platforms can spring up overnight. Are your children using it? Is it safe? When everything is changing, sometimes parents need an education, too. Three Rivers Local School District is proud to work with Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center to bring parents “Think Before You Send” seminar presented by Dr. Jennie Noll. Dr. Noll will teach parents how to speak with their children about cyber-safety and responsible media behavior. “Think Before You Send” is part of the on-going character education program called “Connections” at Three Rivers. The Connections Series exposes Taylor High School students to pertinent topics they face like bullying prevention, suicide prevention, mental health awareness and social media issues.
