Between the ages of 1-2, your child should: *Say more words every month *Use some 1-2 word questions (where kitty, go bye-bye) *Put 2 words together (no juice, mommy book) *use many different consonant sounds at beginnings of words We always recommend that if your child is not meeting these milestones, it is a good idea to have a speech and language screening. The earlier a childs speech and language problems are identified and treated, the less likely it is that problems will persist or get worse.
