Paris Landing State Park is excited to announce that they will host a Sprint Triathlon on July 12 at 7 a.m. The triathlon will include a 500-meter swim, 14-mile bike ride and three-mile run. To register for the triathlon, visit paristntri.racesonline. In addition, packages are available at the Paris Landing Inn for lodging and meals. One night lodging and a grab-n-go breakfast is $120 for double occupancy, $110 for single occupancy per night. Rooms are also available for the regular rate of $89 plus tax per night. The race is a separate registration from the Inn lodging. Please contact Paris Landing for more information. This family-friendly event will allow participants to see everything the park has to offer, including the 18-hole golf course and marina. Located on the western shore of Kentucky Lake, this 841-acre park sits on the widest park of the lake with beautiful scenery, wildlife and recreational opportunities.
