Paris NCourage Fest meet-Kalpana Rao of Paris M2B, an arts graduate, worked with Citibank for 10 years. Her drive for sales drove her to create Pari’s, a specialty store that deals in garments made using natural, environment-friendly dyes. This concept store showcases Indian and Indo-Western wear as well as Indianised maternity wear. Her challenges and experiences as a young, pregnant mother inspired her to create garments with unique features such as concealed and discrete feeding options within garments as well as garments that could be used by the expectant mother even after delivery, owing to the reusability and versatility of the garment. Pari’s has been operating in the regular ‘mix and match’ segment catering to traditional Indian body sizes. These garments make the women look and feel good as they fit well and do not make her look larger than her size. The sizes range from XS to 4XL. Kalpana’s passion for mentoring led her to conceptualize Pari’s N’Courage Fest to provide a platform for talented women entrepreneurs. https://facebook/parism2b
