Park City Coffee Roaster signs 5 year agreement with Intermountain Healthcare April 2014 Park City, UT – Park City Coffee Roaster announced today that it competed and won the right to become the main coffee wholesaler provider to Intermountain Healthcare based out of Salt Lake City. Park City Coffee Roaster was one of five coffee companies to compete for the exclusive five-year contractual relationship. Park City Coffee Roaster will enable Intermountain Healthcare to have a locally roasted product that is organically certified and fair traded through TransFair USA. “Intermountain chose Park City Coffee Roaster after 6 coffee products were tested in a blind taste test. We’re thrilled that PCCR will be working in partnership with Intermountain.” Says Daniela Cherry, Senior Solutions Manager with Intermountain’s Supply Chain Organization. About Park City Coffee Roaster: Park City Coffee Roaster is owned by twin brothers Rob and Ray Hibl. They have been perfecting their handcrafted roasting technique since 1997. They roast their great beans to the handcrafted traditions set forth by the Roasters Guild of America. This allows for the coffee to be given the special attention it deserves after so much work has been put into the growing, harvesting and selection process. Our small batch roasting gives each coffee roast its own characteristics. This technique allows the beans to be evenly roasted and gives our company the ability to offer the freshest coffee. We feel our customers deserve deliciously aromatic cups of coffee that small batch roasting can accomplish. They currently operate a single retail operation in the Kimball Junction area of Park City. Park City Coffee Roaster has been selling their coffee through the Associated Food Stores network of grocery stores since 1999. You can find their coffee throughout Utah at all AFS stores. About Intermountain Healthcare: Intermountain Healthcare is a Utah-based not-for-profit system of 22 hospitals, 185 clinics, a Medical Group with over 1,000 employed physicians; a health plans division called SelectHealth, and other health services. Intermountain is widely recognized as a leader in transforming healthcare through high quality and sustainable costs.
