The album is sonically rich and layered, itself a bit of an unheralded masterpiece. Creepy and wonderful and a bit ominous and pretty true to the subject of Poe. Anyway the back story is I stumbled upon these two video / albums tonight and decided to listen to it whole again since its been about 1981 the last time I listened to it all complete. Why so long? Because the person I bought it for ripped my heart out. Long forgiven but wounds do take a long time to heal. And scars remain. If you havent heard it give it a listen in total. Its a great album, some of which would make great horror story sound. And remember it was made in 1976 so again its ahead of its time.
