Part Two of bringing three childhood friends together 70 years - TopicsExpress

Part Two of bringing three childhood friends together 70 years after they left Poston Japanese Internment Camp when they were 10 years old. Many Japanese families were thrown together during the war in camps, these childhood friends created a bond playing together making the best of a difficult situation, but triumphed beyond their Internment. Paul Okimoto who wrote the book on camp got his PhD and is an inventor of several medical devices and started several Biotechnology companies, Masaaki Konatsu is an accomplished landscape artist, and Masanao was a helicopter pilot. They shared many stories of their childhood and Im so grateful I picked up Pauls book and discovered my husbands Uncles were some of his playmates in camp. It warmed me and my husbands heart to see how happy they were together again and I found a kindered spirit in Paul. Thanks for letting me share their story, Iona
