Participating in Oswego Co. Earth Week, students from Essentials of Biology , at the Fulton campus of Cayuga Community College, did a roadside litter cleanup along the adjacent roads of the Great Bear Springs property. Litter was collected from Rt. 57, Great Bear & Hawthorne Rds. Most of the litter was non returnable bottles and fast food cups, wrappers and containers. With rain just holding off, 23 bags of litter, one tire, metal signage and a broken electric weed trimmer were collected. Much thanks to the students for their interest and effort in keeping our county roadsides clean and beautiful! FOGB
