Pass in Review tomorrow has been canceled. Heres a message from the academy: I have some great news from OWeek. We had 186 new Cadets on OWeek Sunday and another 16 Cadets joined us from the new student conference on Tuesday, giving us a total of 202 freshmen Cadets. We also had 25 upperclassmen come in and help us with the OWeek activities and they did a great job teaching, training and motivating our newest Cadets. As a result we lost only 2 Cadets who decided they didn’t want to join the Corps. We are very proud of the incoming class of freshmen, class of ‘18, and they are off to a great start. It was definitely, one of the best OWeek’s ever. The thunderstorm all day Thursday has changed our schedule considerably. However, we will be watching Aggie Football in the gym tonight as the Aggs beat South Carolina. Unfortunately, the drill field has had too much rain today, with more rain in the forecast for tomorrow; so we have cancelled the “pass in review” (parade) for Friday at 1100hrs. We have moved some other activities around and most of the LO Cadets will be released around 1:00pm tomorrow afternoon. NROTC will stay to the end of the day.
