Pass this around ladies and gents. Remington Arms Company has issued a recall on their 700 and model seven rifles with the x-mark pro trigger. The firearm can discharge on the bolt closing. There is no need to bring the rifle into a gun shop and have them take care of it. Remington will send you a box and a label. Heres the directions. Visit xmprecall.remington or call 1-800-243-9700 (Prompt #3 then Prompt #1) Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT. You will be asked to provide your name, address, telephone number, and rifle(s) serial number.
