Passing this along from Bram Denham. JUST FOR FUN WORKOUT. not a race. Hello Everyone! Quick reminder that this Saturday December 6th will be the 13th annual Ocean challenge 830 am at Kihei Kamaole Beach Park 1. This is not a race but a group work out, (some will be more competitive then others). The event consists of approx. 1-mile swim, a 2-mile paddleboard(prone or Sup), a 3-mile kayak or canoe and a 1-mile beach run. You can do this as an individual or as a team. Again this is not a race so no fees, no waivers, no rules, just a fun good work out! You dont have all the toys? just do part of it. Cant swim? then just paddle or use fins, mask and snorkel. Bring your own nutritional requirements. This will be a great tune up for the upcoming paddle season and or to shed some pre and/or post holiday calories. So we start at 0830 sharp.
