Pastor Elijah Grey opened up the church like he normally does every Sunday morning. To him it was such a joy to get there early and open up the sanctuary at the Northwest Baltimore Baptist Church. He would just sit in the pew and meditate on God’s Word or sometimes he would just meditate about all he had gone through during the past week. This Sunday though, he definitely needed to think back about all the craziness that went on the past couple of days. Being a middle aged, widowed man and a pastor of a well-known church in the Baltimore, Maryland area, Elijah has come to realize that he had to be just as mindful when dating as he tells the members of his own congregation. Last week was a prime example of letting him know that he was not ready or strong enough to handle all the temptations that came at him when he went to a friend’s house for a friendly cook-out.
