Pat Metheny Unity Concert Last Night I believe I witnessed a one of a kind in my life time. Pat Metheny appears to be the one of best guitar players ever - including ability, originality and sounds. His compositions are also unique and original. They move my soul reconstructing my DNA to greater levels of joy. I believe one of the greatest compliments to an artist is when you hear the music and you can recognize their unique style, phrasing and sound - instantly. I am not sure in any lifetime if there has ever been a musician/composer that is a true master at both. I know it has been a gift to witness him live three times and listen to everyone of of his recording - numerous times. Pat Metheny - you make me want to be a better artist. (say like Jack Nicolson) The best part of the evening is when my bride leans over and kisses me and thanks me for making her birthday so special. She too, composes original music. What illustrious joy!!
