Patience I never said loving me was easy, All I ask for is a little time and patience. I crave for real intimacy, But all I get are replacements. I just want you to be understanding, And not get too busy, With this world thats so demanding. Patience.... Its about give, not just take, Always being there when I need you, Listening to what might be at stake. I try telling you what Im going through, But sometimes I feel like your mistake. Im at a loss on what to do, So please tell me for heavens sake. Patience.... I want you to know whats going on in my head, You dont seem to understand the pain. But its hard to do when your talking instead, Or I feel like youre being vain. We need a compromise because were walking a thin thread, We need to sit down and talk before we drive the other insane. Patience.... I know you get frustrated or get mad, But please dont give up on me. Youre the best love Ive ever had. I know my depression is annoying, And trust me, it makes me feel bad. Please dont ever leave me, It would make me very sad. Patience.... I want this love of ours to last, Because love like this is hard to find. I want you to be my future rather than end up as my past, I just want you to know what is on my mind. Because how I feel about you is big and vast. Ill try and do better, with time, Instead of wearing a mask. Patience.... You make me happy in every way, So dont ever think its you. Youre the reason I smile everyday, I know you dont know what to do. Just please dont take your love away, Because its real and true. Be sympathetic towards my feelings that are day to day, Because this love of ours, is something either of us dont want to lose. Patience....
