Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness. Symptoms: There are typically no early warning signs or symptoms of open-angle glaucoma. Early detection, through regular and complete eye exams, is the key to protecting your vision. Everyone is at risk for glaucoma. However, certain groups are at higher risk than others like patients with family history of glaucoma, steroid users, age > 40 yrs and patients with eye injury.
