Patricia M. “Patsy” Scorby, 84, of Arizona and formerly Streator passed away Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Hospice of Arizona in Peoria, Arizona. Private family interment will take place at a later date at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator. Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Born May 14, 1929 in Streator she was the daughter of Orville and Lucia “Lucy” (Demarco) Cronk. She married Alvin Scorby in 1947, he passed away in 1982. Her longtime companion and best friend of 19 years Homer “Gene” Brisbin also preceded her in death in 2010. She is survived by sisters-in-law; Lois (Fred) Cronk, Irene (John) Cronk and Hazel Scorby; many nieces and nephews; the Gene Brisbin family; step-sons Tracy and Steve Brisbin and their 6 children and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred “Fritz” Cronk and John “Jack” Cronk; sister, Betty (Dale) Phillips and sister-in-law, Irene (Dick) Kidd. She attended Streator grade school and Streator High School. She lived in Lockport until 1978 when she moved to Arizona. She graduated from the American School of Beauty in 1946. Patsy work in retail for many years. She was of the Catholic faith. Online condolences may be left for the family at solontelford.
