Pattys Soap Box for Friday: A real person does not gossip, their word is their bond; they strives to be a role model; makes their own fortune; doesn’t look like something their not; keeps their house in order; takes care of their appearance; and can defend their self. What happened? People gossip all the time, do not see that their word is their bond, and this could go on and on. There is power in honesty and what happened to this. People should remember that, when one endeavors to consistently keep their word, they protect their reputation and promote their self as someone who can be trusted to be unfailingly truthful. What happened to honesty, and keeping your word, people we are living life too fast. We need to slow down, relax and smell the roses; we are not promised tomorrow therefore, enjoy today. Therefore, we all need to to stop rushing, stop working late, time passes quickly. Stop and enjoy the day, the moment and the minute. Each minute that you miss, is time lost and will not return to you again.
