Paula Priesse July 1st – Simple question. Who in the world still respects President Obama? O scrapped European missile defense to appease the Russians, now Putin laughs at him. China ignores him. European officials are furious, saying a trans-Atlantic trade treaty is in jeopardy after discovering the NSA’s been spying on them too. And how’s that “Arab Spring” going? O draws meaningless red lines in Syria while his rebel buddies behead Christians. Iraq is drifting back towards civil war. And in Egypt, MILLIONS are in the streets demonstrating against Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood. Many upset with Obama himself, with reports O tried to dissuade Egyptian Christians from causing trouble. So as with Iran and Turkey, O is once again turning his back on those protesting a repressive Islamic government. Meanwhile, he’s off blowing a $100 million in Africa. Those in other countries are coming to grips that O is no leader. And they’re realizing something else as well. The world doesn’t need an American president who is liked. It needs one who is respected. P
