Paving Work to Close Lanes on Sheridan Dr. Motorists should expect daily lane closures in both directions on Sheridan Drive between Grand Island Boulevard and Delaware Avenue in the Town of Tonawanda beginning Friday, the state Department of Transportation announced. Lanes will be closed from 6:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. for about three weeks while milling and paving work is done on Sheridan. Meanwhile, the right-lane closure on Sheridan between River Road and Kenmore Avenue will continue to allow for drainage, curb and sidewalk construction. (Buffalo News 9/5/13)
