Pedagogy crowd source: Im teaching one of these new-tangled dual enrollment classes to a bunch of Kannapolis juniors--16yr-olds. I have been told by 2 supervisors that Im supposed to do a real College-level American History 1 survey. My problem is that I always repeatedly tell my real freshmen to be realistic and drop any class they cant pass. But I dont see dropping as an option for HS kids. And while I regularly adjust tests for bad questions, I dont like to curve, and Im just not going to create and grade extra credit for what I make. So, can it be done?
