Pengy and his close personal friend Albert Pujols are hanging out today, shooting the breeze about football and the recent failure of the St. Louis Cardinals. Pengy thinks the Cardinals should have paid Pujols what he was worth, and it cost them a World Series appearance. Pengy will pay dearly for this post, so he hopes you enjoyed it. So, there was a funny thing that happened last week. Pengy is currently auditioning new narrators because the one he has screwed up quite badly last time. Remember how the only game that Perceval and Pengy disagreed on was Cleveland? Well, it turns out that our flightless fowl friend did in fact pick Cleveland. While making last weeks predictions, the narrator typed the wrong team name. See the attached image. So, Pengy rightfully tied the week (and won on confidence points), but the Narrator is kind of a dumbass. Alternately, he will blame communication issues from Antarctica to the United States combined with translation issues from penguin to human. Whats important here is that Pengy made picks that were superior to the evil bear, *AND* the St. Louis Cardinals lost. So, Pengy had a better week than Perceval. The Narrator is sleeping on the couch tonight. Before that happens, here are the winning picks for the week. They are Buffalo, Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Cincinnati, Seattle, Tennessee, Cleveland, Atlanta (I thought the Washington Generals were due!), San Diego, Dallas, Arizona, Denver, and Pittsburgh. On a tangential note, Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Dallas seem to be the teams that Football Pengy understands the least this season. He can blame fanboy-itis for the Falcons, but the other two continue to mystify.
