Pennsylvania Underground Preservation Society: Recently an issue with a discrepancy in funds for donations and payments for overnight investigations at Selma Mansion was discovered by P.U.P.S. Lisa Terio and the Norristown Preservation Society. The paranormal program at Selma Mansion run by The Pennsylvania Underground Paranormal Society (aka P.U.P.S.) has worked hard for years to raise awareness and raise money to aid in the restoration of Selma Mansion. Due to health issues with P.U.P.S. founder, Lisa Terio, Steve Foersch, the case manager for P.U.P.S., was then entrusted to greet the paranormal overnight guests, collect funds and waivers, and submit the money to the Norristown Preservation Society for deposit. (100% of all funds raised from the paranormal program are to go to the Norristown Preservation Society for the Selma Restoration Project). All of P.U.P.S. efforts are on a volunteer basis. In June of 2013, it was discovered that much of said funds were not being submitted to The Norristown Preservation Society, and were being diverted by Steve Foersch for his own personal gain. P.U.P.S. founder, Lisa Terio and other members of P.U.P.S. worked hand-in-hand with the Norristown Preservation Society and began investigating the discrepancies and contacted the paranormal groups that were scheduled for overnight investigations at Selma Mansion between January of 2013 until June of 2013, and said paranormal groups have aided P.U.P.S. and the Norristown Preservation Society in their efforts to determine how much of said funds collected were diverted by Steve Foersch. P.U.P.S. and the Norristown Preservation Society were not aware of the wrongdoing by Steve Foersch until P.U.P.S. founder, Lisa Terio, discovered a discrepancy in funds deposited and contacted the Treasurer of the Norristown Preservation Society. P.U.P.S. Lisa Terio and the treasurer of N.P.S. did a comparison of books and financial receipts, and were aided by many of the above noted paranormal groups who have submitted witness statements and proof of having paid their monies directly to Steve Foersch via cash or personal check in his name, at his request, rather than a check to the Norristown Preservation Society for their visit to Selma Mansion. P.U.P.S., along with many of the above stated paranormal groups, as well as the Norristown Preservation Society have taken the necessary measures and legal action against Steve Foersch and accounting practices and safeguards have been initiated by P.U.P.S. and The Norristown Preservation Society so that an issue like this can never arise again in the future. As of June, 2013, Steve Foersch’s affiliation with P.U.P.S. and the Norristown Preservation Society was terminated. If anyone has been contacted by Steve Foersch representing Selma Mansion, The Norristown Preservation Society or The Pennsylvania Underground Paranormal Society (P.U.P.S.), please come forward and contact P.U.P.S Lisa Terio or The Norristown Preservation Society directly. Charges are pending against Steve Foersch at this time.. P.U.P.S. has the support of the Norristown Preservation Society and the paranormal groups who came into contact with Steve Foersch during the period of January, 2013 and June, 2013 and are working together to rectify this unfortunate situation.
