People, I understand that sometimes police officers are too aggressive, and some of them are crooked. There are bad cops out there. The majority of them are good people who chose the job because they wanted to help people. Most officers would lay their life down for you. They show aggression because they are human beings who get tossed into a fight or flight scenario. They have watched endless videos like this one telling them that there are people out to get them, and these people will stop at nothing for a dead cop. They are in a state of hypervigilance from both their training and experience on the job, and they know that every call they go on could be their last. Give them some credit.
