People are getting me heated with all this minimum wage bull! Yeah I make nearly minimum wage, Im not allowed to have a child because a job making minimum wage is for high schoolers? If I wanted a family maybe I should have gotten my ignorant self a degree first? Wow. People truly are ignorant making assumptions about total and complete strangers! 1) Im in the process of getting my degree (at the age of 21 thats completely normal). 2) Im married and dearly love my husband, so yes we did have a child, thus to share our love, morals and values. 3) My husband and I are working fast-food jobs (typically considered minimum wage jobs) to provide for our family and get through school. If that was the best we could find when beginning college, so be it! If we dont have people serving your food, bagging your groceries, mowing your lawns, cleaning your homes, or delivering you pizza (etc.), then yes we can erase minimum wage, but Im pretty sure you dont want that. Im not saying minimum wage needs raised to $15 an hour or even at all, but please stop belittling us hard workers so you feel better about your 50k a year! You all have the nerve calling those working day in and day out to make it and scrape by LAZY when in reality were serving you and then going home and doing all of that for ourselves. So maybe the term LAZY should be redirected towards yourselves!!! UGH RANT OVER!
