People have a good side - and a dark side... The whole universe is a balance of good/bad, plus/minus, positive/negative or 0 and 1 if youre a programmer... God made us and everything around us like that. Forgive him his sins, and remember the joy and fun! A special person had this both sides as we all have. And a real friend is one who wont drop you even if you know about it! The last years before he passed away he fought the long-term after effects of a heart attack he had in 2008. He never was the same after that. The Lord finally called Col. Robert Morris to sit down right next to his beloved Momma on October, 21st 2013. I was there when his heart stopped beating and he took his very last breath. I will never forget you brother! Rest in Peace! This is my song I wrote for him: MEMPHIS OUTLAW 1. Born as a music outlaw in Memphis, Tennessee your kid’s toys were the drums and guitar and you played the Blues in B You rocked the clubs in Downtown and Beale Street was your home Country Music, Rockabilly as the Colonel you were known Chorus: Sleep well my brother, “God brought his boy home” to meet up with your Momma right next to his throne. And I promise in our minds, you will always be around as now we know heaven became “Rockabilly Town” 2. Now you hit the drums again for Charlie Feathers in the sky pick guitar with Cordell Jackson while you’re waving us Goodbye Singing “Mother’s Hall of Fame” with the great Charlie Louvin and Leningrad Cowboy Matti and Ernie Ashworth are joining in Chorus: Sleep well my brother, “God brought his boy home” to meet with your Momma right next to his throne. And I promise in our minds, you will always be around as now we know heaven became “Rockabilly Town” 3. You now spend “Midnight’s with Elvis” while y’all go “Country wild” and you’ll serve another Whiskey in the new old Lonesome Bar I am proud that we were brothers, you’ll be always on my mind But now I have to let you go on your very own Truckers Last Ride Chorus: Sleep well my brother, “God brought his boy home” to meet with your Momma right next to his throne. And I promise in our minds, you will always be around as now we know heaven became “Rockabilly Town” (c) 10/25/2013 by T.m.
