People have been thanking God and claiming THEIR prayers have been answered since I have volunteered 60% of my liver to save my Mom (Tammy Miranda) life. I posted about how disrespectful that is to take away what Im doing and giving credit to their God. I asked that people use some discretion and not use this situation as a way to promote whatever their religion is. I wish that people would see their are way more religions in the world then theirs. in most cases theirs is not even one of the really old ones or originals. I was called out as an Atheist. Might do the world some good to know a non religious person can do some real good in this world. I will no longer live in a world where truth and reality have to be ignored for others Feelings. What about our feelings my fellow non religious and myself?? Who live a good life do right by others. Do we have to sit in silence as the religious take away our accomplishments and give the credit to their god? Do we have to let people tell us well go to Hell for not buying into their little club? Its beliefs of the religious that hurt others. I never heard of a non religious saying they will set someone else on fire for eternity for what they believe. Were people too and we should have the right to not be alienated just as the religious do. Im doing this for my Mom. This may be the only good thing I do in my life. This may be my one completely selfless act that I get to do. Ill die someday knowing Im the kind of person who will step up when theres a war and who will go under the knife for those he loves. The religious have no right to take this honor from me and give it to whatever god they follow. This honor is mine and mine alone and I will hold my head up high, cause I know this is me and nothing else. I stepped up. I find more pride knowing that your God, which ever one you believe, could fix my Mom with a snap of his fingers, yet he doesnt. Your God watches the world suffer and does nothing. All powerful and all knowing yet leaves things to burn. I have to suffer and sacrifice and I did step up for at least one person! It will be way harder for me to do this for my Mom then God. But I showed up. So instead of talking about your prayers working... instead of pretending to make a difference, be the solution! Be the difference, BE THE CHANGE! Cause God or no God, We could all start chipping in a bit more! Another thing. How do you ignore this beautiful planet and existence. Youre lucky you ever got to live at all! So this Reward of heaven and eternity of happiness, is not only you being an entitled child. Its you being so self centered and narcissistic that you will just miss your chance to live well. You wait for God and heaven, Im living now and stepping up to make this world better.
