People look at me and call me white. However talking to a linguist from Rosetta stone I learned that of the 5 Romance languages Romanian is the closest to it mother tongue Latin. So why am I not calling myself a Latino? Why, because as much as I am proud of my Romanian heritage I am just as much if not more so that I am an American. I do not say I am Romanian-American for the fact that implies my loyalties lie more with my birth country rather than the country that has sustained me for 37 years. Am I a Christian? No. I do not live the life of a Christian as required by the Bible. Do I believe in the God of the Bible? Of course I do. His existence is proven through history, mathematics, science, archaeology, biology, cosmology and of course the Bible. Even if I didnt believe and even though I am not a Christian does not mean I do not & should not allow Christians from believing as they do. So is the intent “freedom of religion,” or “freedom from religion”? Justice Scalia argues that it is the former. Who am I to argue with him? Guess what? There are Democrats that are Christians and believe that the God of the bible is who He says he is. They may not agree on some issues that I as a conservative agree but thats what makes them American and I would venture to guess that they are pissed that the progressives have hi-jacked their party. I unequivocally know that Barrack Hussein Obama is a Communist, not because FOX told me but because I see him following the same patterns as Vladimir Lenin, Nicolae Ceausescu, Kim Jong-Il, so on and so forth. National healthcare, removing our guns, national curriculum, etc. As for that last picture lets not forget that the man that freed the slaves was a staunch conservative and was seen reading the Bible quite a bit. In fact most of his wisdom, not to mention anti-slavery stance, came from the Good Book and he quoted from it. I am not ashamed of my conservative and I agree with every line item of our Republican platform. It is the liberals that have infiltrated my party and have stained the Republican name. Did George Bush do a better job than Obama? Of course he did but I do not give Dubya a pass for is liberal leaning policies he implemented, i.e. illegal immigration, bank bailout, etc. I hold true to who I am, to my base core fundamental values. Remember fundamental does not mean crazy. It comes from the same root word as foundation. I hold every public servant to the same bar. I am more vocal about some more than others because they stray from that bar, measuring stick. In fact it is my duty since I am given the ultimate power of the vote that I use that par on every elected public servant. In my world view I see things from a conservative perspective. You (plural) have your own world view and you too may be a conservative or a moderate or a liberal. With that said I am entitled, by the U.S. Constitution, to have my world view without it being infringed upon by you as you have your entitlement to your world view without my infringing on you. When you start calling me racist or a hater because my world view differs from yours, you have violated my right to who I am as an American.
