People move to metropolitan areas for the convenience, but I think - TopicsExpress

People move to metropolitan areas for the convenience, but I think its pretty darn convenient to live on the edge of a tiny town with only two main streets... today I noticed my tire in my subaru was going flat, so I dropped it off at the car fix shop, without appointment. While they fixed my tire for the fine price of $15, I did ALL my errands on foot in just a few minutes... everywhere I needed to go was within sight... post office, bank, mexican grocery, I could have even walked to Mr. Bowlins fiddle shop if Id had time, but by then my tire was fixed. I remember living places where the same errands would involved lots of driving/waiting/aggravation. I am grateful.
