People often ask me about the way I make an artwork, so I thought Id share some of the stages of making this dragon heart design with you. I painted this one on the computer using Photoshop and a Wacom graphics tablet and pen, but the same techniques apply however you might chose to paint, with digital technology, or pen on paper. I find that it is always a good idea to sketch out the picture first and not just head straight into the details. I then roughly add the colours before refining the details and creating the final art.
