People often say they are alone in the world. This, of course, is absurd, as any one of us could stroll into a coffee shop and strike up a conversation with any human hanging about. We dont lack people to connect with, we lack the intention and initiative to do so. Perhaps its a courage issue, or perhaps a consciousness issue, but either way avoidance or bitterness or division will not serve anyone. The world is full of amazing humans to talk to, hang with, learn from, contribute to, and love. Those who remain pessimistic about caring for or connecting with others are not alone in the universe, they are alone in their fear.
