People pride over things. For some it is the clothes they wear, the food they indulge in, the houses they dwell in, or the skin that covers them. It intrigues me that such things will not benefit us in the grave, nor will it accompany us in the next life, the clothes deteriorate, the food wastes, the buildings crumble, and the skin will be feasted on by worms What matters in this world is much deeper, so much more profound. The reason of our existence, our very purpose, what dictates how we live our lives, and the method in which we embark on to revive man. The call which we respond to with life and god willing, with death. Life is short we hear all the time, so spend the moments accumulating things of benefit. Value your thinking, the concepts you carry, this is what makes you or breaks you, its what gives you life, its what gives you reason to fulfil your covenant with Allaah and your pledge with Rasul. Pride over your Islam.
